While the heavens opened and turned many of our local pitches into swimming pools this weekend, it takes more than a few clouds to stop our travelling squads. Across the region, our teams proved that while the rain might dampen the grass, it couldn’t touch their spirits.

From clinical clean sheets to nail-biting finishes, here is how our "Away Day Warriors" fared behind enemy lines.
The Senior Showstoppers
The senior sides led by example, proving that experience pays off when the conditions get gritty.
First Team Thriller: In what was arguably the match of the weekend, the First Team battled Meadowridge in a 2-2 classic. Their resilience under pressure secured a massive away point on the road.

The 6th Divison Masterclass: The 6th Team delivered the most dominant performance of the day, dismantling Lansdowne with a clinical 5-0 victory. A clean sheet and five goals? That’s how you handle a rainy afternoon.
Junior Brilliance & Hard-Fought Battles
Our youth divisions saw plenty of action, specifically in a recurring "Battle of the Coast" against Fish Hoek and Sunningdale.
The Victors:
U12a: Showed great composure to take down Fish Hoek 3-1.
U12c: Ground out a tough 2-1 win against Kensington with a 10 man squad.
The Stalemate:
U14a: Neither side could be separated in a tense 2-2 draw against Fish Hoek. A fair result for two sides that refused to blink.
Valiant Efforts:
It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows (mostly just rain), as some of our squads found the away conditions a bridge too far. The U12b side fell 2-4 to Sunningdale, while the U16s suffered two heartbreakers: the U16a losing 1-2 to Fish Hoek and the U16b narrowly missing out 2-3 against Sunningdale. U14b: Took a hard knock and earned there school fees losing 4-0 to Sunningdale .
The Mystery of the U18s
The U18s faced a tough trip to Fish Hoek, ending in a 0-3 result. However, the full story is yet to be told, but not today as Coach Duncan is trying to connect the dots.
A huge shoutout to the parents, coaches, and players who braved the elements. Whether you brought home a win or a muddy kit and a lesson, you represented the club with pride!
