When you watch Stephanian Ottery AFC’s Seniors Squad in action, there’s a quiet figure on the sidelines whose influence runs deep. That’s Alick Hendricks, our Technical Coach a man who believes football is more than just 90 minutes on the pitch; it’s about unity, strategy, and heart.

Alick’s coaching journey began with Shosholoza FC and later Ashford FC, where he honed his ability to turn raw talent into cohesive teams. His philosophy is simple yet powerful:

“As a unit, we can achieve more than any individual.”

He often reminds the squad: “We play with 16, they play with 11.” For Alick, every player matters whether you’re starting or waiting for your moment, your role is vital to the team’s success.

His vision for the Seniors Squad is clear: to maximize our full potential. And if his favorite football memory beating Rygersdal in the Coke Cup semifinals is anything to go by, he knows what it takes to win big.
