Club members registration 2025

Updated: May 15

Dear Existing and Prospective Club Members,

As we approach the 2025 football season, the Executive Committee and coaching staff are diligently preparing for the preseason training period, which marks the beginning of our football activities. We have already received a significant number of inquiries regarding registration, particularly from prospective members within our junior ranks. While we are excited by this interest, accommodating new members presents a considerable challenge, as our first priority is to ensure that existing members who wish to participate in the 2025 season are properly accommodated.

We would like to take this opportunity to provide clarity on the registration process as we navigate this situation. Please be advised that the registration of current members will take precedence before we can consider new members for the upcoming season. Should any existing members choose not to renew their membership, their spots will become available and may be offered to prospective members within that division.

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled to take place soon, where a proposal for an increase in our subscription fees for 2025 will be discussed and adopted. Given the increasing costs associated with sustaining and improving the club’s operations and football development, we anticipate a significant rise in fees. As we are already operating with limited financial and human resources, it is essential that our members meet all financial obligations in order for us to maintain a high standard of football development.

In light of this, we must begin the player registration process promptly to ensure that we are fully prepared for our first fixture in early April. All members, both returning and new, must complete their registration. Please note that no registrations will be processed without the required documentation and the payment of a R200 registration fee. This fee will be credited towards the annual subscription, with the balance to be paid in installments according to the agreed schedule. Should any existing members fail to submit the necessary documentation and registration fee by 19th February 2025, their membership will be deemed inactive, and their place will be made available to prospective members.

Our coaching staff is exploring the possibility of offering new members brief trials to assess their potential contribution to our football objectives. While we remain a community club, we are regrettably unable to offer membership to every inquiry due to the current oversubscription, which affects our ability to maintain an optimal football environment. We trust this communication provides clarity, and we appreciate your understanding as we manage these challenges.

Kind regards,Executive Committee
