A Moment of Purpose, Leadership, and Unity
In an inspiring show of connection and purpose, our Under-8 and Under-16 Coaching Divisions came together for the first-ever “Each One Teach One” mentorship initiative and what unfolded was truly extraordinary.

This initiative was born from a simple yet powerful belief: that our youngest players deserve more than just drills and training sessions. They deserve to feel part of a bigger story a heartbeat that pulses throughout the entire club. As the U8 Coaching Division, we recognised the importance of bridging generations within our teams, offering our minis not just technical development, but a deep sense of identity and belonging.
And rise to the occasion, our Under-16s certainly did. With heart, humility, and a maturity beyond their years, they embraced their roles as “Big Brothers.” What we witnessed was mentorship in its purest form authentic, encouraging, and joyful. These young leaders didn’t just show up; they inspired. Their guidance was a reflection of the growth we’ve seen in them all season, both on and off the pitch.

But the vision for “Each One Teach One” goes far beyond a single afternoon. This is the foundation of something more a culture of mentorship that echoes throughout the club. From senior squads to budding beginners, the goal is simple: to build a legacy of support, leadership, and growth that transcends age groups and divisions.
For us as the U8 coaching team, this moment reaffirmed a fundamental truth: the early phase of a player’s journey is sacred. We’re not just shaping footballers we’re shaping humans. Confidence, emotional intelligence, teamwork… these building blocks matter as much as any ball skill. When we invest in these values early, the results speak for themselves.
What happened last Friday wasn’t just a session. It was a symbol of who we are. It was club culture in action purposeful, inclusive, and inspiring. The kind of moment that reminds us why we coach, why we serve, and why we believe in the power of sport.
No question about it this is only the beginning.
